Former U.S. Attorney and CMS Executive to Speak at Compliance 360 Customer Conference

Presentations to Explore Proactive Measures for Demonstrating Compliance Effectiveness and Regulatory Strategies

Taking place at the W Hotel in Buckhead, Georgia from March 26-28, 2012, compliance professionals from healthcare, insurance, financial services and other regulated industries will participate in educational sessions and gain insights into emerging compliance requirements while learning about the latest Compliance 360 products and enhancements.

Martin will present the keynote address, “Demonstrating Compliance Efforts to Regulators and Prosecutors.”  As lead prosecutor in the $2.8B financial fraud at HealthSouth, Martin conducted an effectiveness review of HealthSouth’s corporate compliance program and its Audit & Compliance Committee.  Attendees will hear her inside perspective on how the government’s response is impacted by a compliance program’s design, and what they can do to demonstrate an effective compliance program to regulators.

Attendees will participate in two days of best practices presentations, including a session from Tranchida, who will discuss the compliance priorities for CMS and offer recommendations for managed care organizations to ensure they adhere to legal and regulatory compliance requirements and avoid penalties.
